The Board of Directors is composed of two to twelve members elected for three years (re-eligible) by the General Assembly. The Board members work on a voluntary basis.
To ensure effective governance during the Forum’s start-up phase, the Board decided:
– to maintain a restricted Board of up to 5 members among the Founding members at least until the end of 2018.
– to create a Bureau to which it has delegated some of its powers in accordance with the Association’s internal rules. The Bureau consists of up to five members from among Board members and includes the Chairman and the Treasurer.
The Bureau represents the Forum vis-à-vis the outside world and is authorized to take any measures in order to achieve the purposes of the Association provided that such measures are not under the responsibility of another body in accordance with the law or Statutes.
