Clora is an intelligent platform that matches life science companies with flexible, on-demand expertise and has access to the entire global network of life science consultants, with decades of combined industry experience across dozens of roles from companies like Merck, Johnson and Johnson, Pfizer, Novartis, and the FDA.
Clora was built by industry veterans who have experienced firsthand the pain and costs associated with staffing projects with the right talent.Rahul Chaturvedi, CEO : We created Clora after spending years being frustrated with hiring the life sciences talent we needed. As our reliance on flexible, highly skilled professionals grew, so did the inefficiency in finding them. These inefficiencies resulted in reduced productivity, blown budgets, and, most importantly, delays in therapies getting to patients. We realized we needed a more effective solution, and we built Clora to be just that.
The company raised $3.3m in seed funding. The round was led by Spark Capital, with participation from Social Capital, Ludlow Ventures, Notation Capital, iSeed Ventures, v1 VC, and KohFounders. In conjunction with the funding, Spark investor John Melas-Kyriazi will be joining Clora’s board.
